Meet Sheri

I know what it's like to feel the ground give way to unstable, shifting sands as your marriage comes to an end. As a parent worried for my children's well-being, as a lesbian who fought for the right to legally marry, as a member of a small, intentional living community that would be rocked by divorce, and as a religious person living by my covenants, it took me a long time to come to terms with divorce.

 

After years of trying unsuccessfully to restore the heart of my 16-year marriage, I sought a road map for a new kind of divorce with dignity and compassion and found it in Katherine Woodward Thomas' Conscious Uncoupling process. Although my former partner died from a rare and aggressive cancer before our divorce was final, we found a path through the breakdown and heartbreak to peace before she died. Since then, the Conscious Uncoupling principles and practices have guided me to new healthy love and supported wholeness and healing in my family. And they can do the same for you!

 

After I made it through, I knew I wanted to help others do the same, and I trained personally with Katherine Woodward Thomas to become a certified coach.

For more than two decades as a Unitarian Universalist minister and educator, I have supported people of all ages in growing spiritually, led transformational group processes online and in person, and worked with individuals in all kinds of families. I also have more than 20 years of experience in the improvisational and somatic practice of InterPlay. My embodied, attentive presence and deep, intuitive listening serves my clients well.

I know the Conscious Uncoupling process works, and I would be honored to guide you through the pain and confusion of separation or divorce in a way that leaves everyone healthy and whole on the other side and inspires excitement and confidence about your next chapter!
